Description: Join us at Korean School and learn about Korean culture! This will range from learning the alphabet to doing fun crafts that are Korean-related. We will show and teach a mix of modern culture and traditional culture and how both have influenced millions of Koreans around the world as we expanded and mixed in with other cultures. We hope that through these sessions, the campus will have a better and deeper understanding of our culture and appreciate the beauty of our country and people.

Description: Representatives from Upstream Rehabilitation will be on campus to provide a snapshot of Upstream Rehab, their Michigan brands Performax and Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists (PT&RS), as well as their 26 brands across the United States. Presenter: Zorislav Plantak
Description: This workshop aims to enlighten students about information and the research cycle. Students will learn about the timeline for producing scholarly information and the resources available throughout the information cycle. They will be able to differentiate between popular and scholarly sources, primary and secondary sources, and types of articles, including their value and functions in the research process. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to recognize the types of information sources needed for a given research and how to access resources in the library, online, or via inter-library loan/document delivery.
Oct. 17: ChatGPT and Research Ethics
Presenter: Paulette Johnson
Description: This workshop will address the following ethical issues related to the research process: academic integrity, the value of information, citations, copyright, and digital privacy. The objective is to understand economic, legal, and social issues surrounding using information ethically and legally. It will also address the issue of AI, particularly ChatGPT.
